SOLOVAIR
Known for their collaboration between R. Griggs and Co. Ltd., the Northamptonshire Productive Society (NPS) started out producing boots for military contracts out of the English midlands.
NPS eventually went on to produce the now iconic Dr. Martens boots using their goodyear welt technology.
Falling out of partnership with Griggs, they decided to patent Solovair, and kept making boots using the original techniques and materials.
In the present day, they are known as the “Original Dr. Martens” boots with an emphasis on heritage quality rather than quantity.
